The Chimacum High School Band has been honored with an invitation to play at Pearl Harbor ceremonies in Honolulu, Hawai‘i on Dec. 7. Band members have been working hard to raise funds for transport of uniforms, musical instruments and people.
A fundraising musical gala is set for 2-4:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 28 at the Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St., Port Townsend. The event includes silent and live auctions. All are welcome to attend to support and encourage the band, and to enjoy the music.
