Led by feisty fiddle and smoldering Uilleann pipes, The Fire Inside brings its Celtic jigs and reels to Concert in the Woods at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 20 at the Laurel B. Johnson Community Center, 923 Hazel Point Road, Coyle.

The Seattle-based band, which has performed more than 150 concerts throughout the Pacific Northwest since 2010, plays traditional works alongside groundbreaking modern Celtic music. Core band members include Ashley Parke on fiddle; Michael Hurtenbach on concertina, guitar, vocals and octave mandolin; Daniel Horn on Uilleann pipes, low whistle, penny whistle and vocals; and Tami Curtis on bodhrán, vocals and cajón.

Admission to the concert is by donation. The event is for all ages, and complimentary cookies and coffee are served at intermission.
